Cotton paper

Cotton fibers can be added in the paper to create a different surface or feel to the paper. Cotton can be added as a few percentages in the paper mix, or it can be fully made of cotton.

Cotton has a large footprint regarding carbon emissions, land use and water use. Mixing cotton and wood fibers also makes the paper non mono material.

Use: Art paper, luxury packaging and banknotes.

End of life (producer claim): Depends on amount of cotton.
