A fabric made from Abacá banana plants in the Philippine highlands. The plant is self-sufficient and requires no fertilizers, pesticides, or extra water, which in turn has contributed to reforestation in areas once eroded due to monocultural palm plantations. The fabric is durable and strong, using only natural colors without dying. C2C certified.
Use: Clothing, consumer products, shopping bags and furniture.
End of life (producer claim): Recyclable and biodegradable.
