Biodegradable plastics

Plastics that can degrade to water or CO2 through industrial processing. They are praised for having positive impact on the planet, but it's important to know this relies on cities having the necessary infrastructure. No plastic as of yet can degrade naturally or without human assistance. See also bio based plastics.

Use: Thin film applications, crockery, take out packaging, food containers.
