Aluminum alloys

Aluminium is usually too soft to be used alone. It's therefor normal to combine aluminium with a secondary metal to get the right properties for the job. The most common alloy materials with aluminium is copper, silicon (metal, not polymer), magnesium and zinc. The amount of aluminium in these alloys are usually between 90% and 99.5%.

Use: Cans, foils, kitchen utensils and industrial components.
